↑I began my photographic journey way back in the late 1960's through street photography in New York City. Then, in the early 1970's, I was fortunate to spend 9 months as an assistant to one of the top fashion photographers in New York. Unfortunately, while this fashion period focused me technically, it did little to stoke my early creative urges. As a result, I put down my cameras and entered a working life totally unrelated to photography. For the next 40 years I only occasionally picked up a camera, mostly to document family events. During my working life I was lucky to have a job which involved a great deal of international travel, exposing me to the vast variety of peoples and landscapes around the world. These travel experiences reignited my interest in photography and drove my intentions to resume photography in retirement. Now retired from my working life, I'm refocusing on photography. I'm currently emphasizing travel and landscape photography, with an eye to color and texture in the landscape, and sharing my experiences through my images. David currently resides in Bedford, New Hampshire but is photographing the world.
